Mia Park loves communicating with people. She is a Chicago based actress, MC, spokesperson and host of the kid's TV dance show, Chic-A-Go-Go!

Mia has professionally acted for over ten years and is deeply connected to the freedom, challenge and magic of acting. She first became comfortable in front of the camera hosting Chic-A-Go-Go! Without formal training and with great timing, Mia plunged into commercial acting, signing on with several agents and joining the acting unions SAG and AFTRA within in a year.

After taking a scene study class, she realized how much work and training this amazing profession requires. Mia went on to complete the improvisation program at I.O. and the Meisner program at Act One Studios. She began theater acting at Act One and shortly there after was cast as the titular role in the hit play, "The Intelligent Design of Jenny Chow" with Collaboraction. The theater bug bit and holds on. Mia joined the stage union, AEA, in 2008 and currently works on devising shows for the stage.

Recognizing a need for more opportunities for Asian American theater artists in Chicago, Mia co-founded A-Squared Theatre Workshop in 2006 and is a Board member. A-Squared creates these opportunities, having produced two plays and over a dozen staged readings. A-Squared is a non-profit, 501C3 organization.

Mia also enjoys working on films and voice over opportunities. She's blessed to work in Chicago's supportive and nurturing acting community.
