We're very excited to carry this new zine focusing on Asian Americans in rock! It's edited by Santanu Rahman from the indie rock band Triple Whip (bass-heavy jazz influenced rock with movie-inspired lyrics), and issue #1 contains a huge interview with Chicago rocker Mia Park (drummer for Kim, Panda Panda and host of cult cable access show Chic-A-Go-Go). Miss Mia talks about being in an all Asian American female rock band (Kim), how Panda Panda started, her involvement with Tatsu Aoki's Asian American Big Band, Asian American activism and APAs in rock.
