I interviewed the great Moari activist from New Zealand, Tame Iti, and a wee bit of our radical conversation is Giant Robot Magazine, Issue 32.

It was also the adopted home of the Maori people before European whalers and missionaries landed on the shores. In time - like Native Americans, Australia’s Aborigines, and various other colonized peoples - the Maori became second-class citizens in their own land. Maori activist Tame Iti is often called New Zealand’s Malcolm X.
