Acting

 Mia Park loves acting as a form of expression and communication. She's grateful for the opportunity to share herself in the universal stories of the characters she plays.

"Miss Mia" has co-hosted the kid's music TV show, Chic-A-Go-Go, since 1997 with a rat puppet named Ratso. As an actress, Mia began her on-camera career in 2000; see her IMDb page for more on-camera info. She's joined the acting unions SAG/AFTRA and AEA and began her theatre career in 2006. Mia also thrives as an MC for the City of Chicago and for several organizations and events.

As an advocate for Asian American representation, Mia co-founded the Asian American theater company, A-Squared Theatre Workshop in 2006 and ran the Chicago Asian American Acting Industry Group which hosted educational acting workshops and supported local Asian American talent. She currently runs the Our Perspective: Asian American Plays program.

On stage, Mia has worked with Goodman Theatre, Silk Road Rising, Collaboraction, Court Theatre, A-Squared Theatre Workshop, Halcyon Theater, About Face Theater, Chicago Children's Theatre and other fine companies. Mia served on the the Joseph Jefferson Committee in 2019, which grants awards to Chicago theatres.

On television, Mia played the recurring character, Nurse Beth Cole, on NBC's Chicago Med for five seasons. She's also appeared on Chicago Fire, Chicago P.D., APB, Shameless, BOSS, and Empire.
