Jam Alker is an addict who creates music to heal himself and in doing so, realized that his music heals others also battling with this brutal disease. I'm honored to play drums in his rocking video, "Junkyard". Find out where to buy his album Sophrosyne here and support Jam in his mission to bravely expose his soul in hopes to inspire others to embrace the truth.

My favorite band I've played in is Kim, pictured above. We formed in the late 1990's and played a big ol' reunion show on May 14, 2016 at the Hideout. It was a blast! We think we're playing The Hideout in Chicago in June, 2020. Stay tuned!

This page is still forming. More music info coming soon, including samples.

In Chicago's music scene, Mia's played in over a dozen rock and jazz bands in Chicago since 1995. Mostly playing drums and singing in rock/pop bands, she now plays annually at the rock benfit series Covers for Cover, which she created and produced for ten years..

"Covers for Cover" raised money for Deborah's Place in 2006, "Hope! Hope! Hope!" benefitted Chicago Coalition for the Homeless in 2008, and "Covers for Cover 2" benefited Coalition for Abused Women and their Children in 2009. In 2010, there was a food drive for Greater Chicago Food Depository. In 2011, "Covers for Cover 3" benefited Primo Center for Women and Children. In 2012, "Covers for Cover 4" benefited Sarah's Circle. Institute of Women Today received funds from "Covers for Cover 5" in 2013. In 2014, "Covers for Cover 6" donated to Teen Living Programs and in 2015, "Covers for Cover 7" raised money for my beloved domestic violence center, KAN-WIN. "Covers for Cover 8" takes place on December 10, 2016 at Schubas.
